The Learning Commons replaces a traditional Library. It is a place for all genres of books, book clubs, technology, board games and puzzles, it is a safe space for all students to be themselves and create memories. We encourage students to relax in this open space, on our comfortable seating and have meaningful conversations while enjoying the beautiful view of the Prairies.

My name is Janet Martens and I have the pleasure of being the face of the Learning Commons. I help the students and faculty with their book and simple technology needs as well as creating the space to be a welcoming atmosphere. Everyday is a challenge and a joy, this is my dream job and I feel gratitude to be a part of the Prairie Winds team.
